In most cases, images will be printed on larger sheets of paper than the purchased image size. This will provide a border around the outer edge of your image which makes your image stand out when framed without a mat and also makes it easier to mount if you choose to add a mat.
8"x10" prints are printed on 8.5"x11" paper
10"x16" prints are printed on 11"x17" paper
11"x17" prints can be printed on 11"x17" (borderless) or 13"x19" (1" border)
12"x18" prints are printed on 13"x19" paper
13"x19" prints are printed on 13"x19" paper (borderless).
